Hollywood Zakoshisyoh

Okay, I'm fully on board with this guy. Most impressionists chase "doesn't that look just like them?" but Zakoshisyoh built an entire career on the opposite gag, the screaming, over-cranked "this is technically NOTHING like them, but you somehow know exactly who I mean" school of comedy, and honestly it floors me every time. He shreds his own voice into gravel for a bit that lasts maybe four seconds, and that total commitment is what gets me, it's so stupid it loops back around to genius. The R-1 Grand Prix win is the part I love most, because it means all that flailing chaos is actually engineered, calibrated, deeply unserious on purpose. Knowing he came up through a Shizuoka technical high school just makes me grin, like there's a quietly diligent craftsman hiding under all that beautiful nonsense. I respect it enormously.
