My Take
Robert Kerman fascinates me as a witness to a specific, vanished moment in film history. He was a Brooklyn College man who became one of the defining faces of the so-called golden age of adult cinema, most famously through Debbie Does Dallas, and earned both AVN and XRCO Hall of Fame nods. What I respect is that he refused to be boxed in, also building a presence in mainstream pictures. It is easy to dismiss the genre, but to him this was a real acting life. He passed in 2018, and I think he deserves to be remembered honestly, complications and all, as a true product of his era.
