My Take

There is something fascinating about a man who carries one of the most iconic conservative surnames in American history and uses his platform to argue the opposite case. Ron Reagan has never traded on his father's politics, openly identifying as a liberal and an atheist, and I respect the independence that takes. His commentary is thoughtful and unafraid, and his famous Freedom From Religion ad showed real willingness to court controversy on principle. Whether or not you agree with him, he refuses to be a footnote to his family name, and that self-defined identity is genuinely admirable to me.
