My Take
Shane Douglas, born Troy Martin, is one of those wrestlers whose importance you only fully grasp if you followed the wars of the 1990s. As the self-styled Franchise of ECW, he embodied that scrappy, anti-establishment energy that made the promotion feel dangerous and alive.
