Sugar Lyn Beard

Sugar Lyn Beard represents the kind of versatile workhorse that holds entertainment together. Out of Ontario, she co-hosted YTV's The Zone from 2001 to 2007, a fixture in countless Canadian living rooms, while building a career across acting, voice work, radio, and songwriting. People chase the spotlight, but I have always had a soft spot for the multi-skilled professionals who quietly do the unglamorous load-bearing work. Her talent for connection, across so many formats, is harder to pull off than it looks. I respect it.
