My Take
Takumi Tsutsui is one of those quietly impressive career actors who never seems to need the spotlight to prove he belongs in it. He's been at this for decades now, past the age when a lot of people are winding down, and there's basically zero noise around him — no tabloid drama, no controversy, just work. That quietness reads to me less like obscurity and more like the mark of a craftsman who's long past needing external validation. Osaka tends to produce performers with a warmer, more grounded energy, and I get exactly that vibe from everything about him.
