Teddy Dunn

Teddy Dunn fascinates me precisely because he walked away. As Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars he was right at the heart of one of the smartest teen mysteries on TV, then he simply left acting, earned a law degree at Boston College, and became a lawyer. In an industry built on clinging to relevance, choosing a clean exit takes a rare kind of self-knowledge. I respect people who can measure success by their own ruler rather than a marquee. The Torquay-born kid who traded the screen for the courtroom strikes me as someone who was always more grounded than the dream demanded.
