My Take
Sefolosha is a pioneer, and pioneers always move me. Coming out of Vevey, he became the first Swiss player in NBA history in 2006 and was later named the greatest Swiss basketball player ever by his home press. At 201 cm, he built a reputation as a tenacious defender forged across leagues in Turkey, France, and Italy. What I value most is the courage of being first: he walked a road no one from his country had walked, and in doing so he became a blueprint for the kids who came after. That kind of trailblazing earns my deep respect.
