My Take
I'll be honest, what gets me about Tomoka Igari is the quiet steel under the idol sparkle. What I keep coming back to is her resilience: after a 2018 injury left her paraplegic, she kept performing with Kamen Joshi from a wheelchair, and she's carried that with a grace that feels earned, not performed. I love that she still runs her own Instagram and X, keeping that handmade closeness with fans instead of outsourcing it. I don't pretend to know every chapter, but people who just keep showing up, head up, doing the work without making noise about it, are exactly the ones I find myself rooting for hardest.
