Tori Matsuzaka

He arrived as Shinken Red in a tokusatsu series, a launchpad many actors never quite escape. He escaped completely: newcomer prizes in 2012 and 2013, then Best Supporting Actor at the Blue Ribbon Awards in 2019. At 183 cm he could coast on looks, yet he keeps choosing grubby, pathetic, unsettling men instead.
