Toshiyuki Nishida

Nishida could play the bumbling salaryman of Tsuribaka Nisshi and still walk off with two Japan Academy Prizes for Best Actor. Comedy and gravity in one body, plus hit records, narration work, and Pigsy in Monkey. He died in 2024, but that warm, unmistakable voice is not going anywhere.
