Tovino Thomas

I rate Tovino Thomas as one of the most exciting forces in Malayalam cinema right now. Rising from a 2012 debut to headlining Minnal Murali, a homegrown Netflix superhero film, he showed that Asia can mint its own icons without leaning on Hollywood templates. Born in 1989, he is arriving at his creative prime, and his move into producing tells me he wants to shape projects, not just appear in them. What I value is the unflashy sincerity he brings, the sense that the screen is carrying something real from his Thrissur roots. I am genuinely curious which version of himself he reveals next.
