Tunde Baiyewu

Tunde Baiyewu owns one of the warmest voices British pop produced in the nineties. As the voice of Lighthouse Family, he gave those soothing, uplifting songs their soul, and his Nigerian heritage and Northumbria roots feed a sound that is both dignified and intimate. What I admire most is that he didn't coast on the group's fame; he built a solo path with Tunde and Diamond in a Rock, standing on his own. Voices like his don't chase trends, and that is precisely why they endure. I'd happily keep listening to him for years.
