My Take
I have a soft spot for left-handers who claw their way up through the minor-league grind to throw even a single big-league inning, and Robertson did exactly that with the Twins. Reaching the majors out of Simi Valley and Bella Vista High is a feat most fans underestimate; the attrition rate is brutal. He was never a star, but the craftsman pitchers who quietly do a job interest me more than the highlight-reel guys. Every pitch he threw in Minnesota counted, and I think careers like his deserve more recognition than they usually get.
