Vasanth

What draws me to Vasanth is his refusal to be pinned to a single register. From the tender Keladi Kanmani to the taut Aasai, he moves through Tamil cinema like a craftsman more interested in human texture than spectacle. I admire directors who build careers across two decades without chasing trends, and his filmography reads exactly that way. There is something quietly confident about a storyteller from Devakottai who lets emotion, not flash, carry the frame. I suspect his films age better than the louder hits of his era, and I would happily revisit his work to test that hunch.
