My Take

What draws me to Victor Osimhen is the hunger visible in every sprint. Strikers with his blend of pace, aerial power, and ruthless finishing are rare, but rarer still is the backstory: a kid from Lagos who fought his way through Germany and France to the top of the European game. The protective mask he wears has become an icon, and I love that it is literally a scar turned into a symbol. As vice-captain of Nigeria he carries a nation's expectations with visible pride. Whenever he plays, I find myself rooting for the story just as much as for the goals themselves.
