Adam Cohen

What strikes me most about Adam Cohen is the quiet courage it takes to be a singer-songwriter when your father is Leonard Cohen. Carrying a name that heavy could crush most artists, yet he has built a real body of work across English and French, fronted Low Millions, and with We Go Home finally seemed at peace with his lineage. I admire him less for any single hit than for his refusal to either flee the comparison or trade on it cheaply. He chose sincerity over spectacle, and to me that is the harder, more honest road.
