My Take

Aimee Garcia strikes me as one of those performers whose ease on screen hides serious discipline. A Northwestern graduate who acts, voices, and writes, she brings real range, and her warm, quick-witted turn as Ella Lopez in Lucifer is harder to pull off than it looks. I respect how she has built a long, varied career while staying grounded in her Latina roots. She is the kind of supporting player who lifts whatever she is in, and to me that reliability is its own form of stardom. I would happily watch her carry more.
