My Take

Aleksander Šeliga occupies the loneliest position in football, and that alone earns my respect. A Celje-born goalkeeper standing 186 cm, he guarded the net through a long career before retiring. The keeper's job carries a brutal asymmetry; a single error can undo a whole match, and only nerves of steel can withstand that pressure season after season.
