My Take
Alex Sharp fascinates me because he reached the summit through the hardest door. A Westminster-born actor, he made his Broadway debut originating Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and walked off with the Tony for Best Actor in a Play. That is almost unheard of for a first outing, and to me it signals a rare command of live performance, the ability to bend a room's air in real time.
