Alexandra Rapaport

Alexandra Rapaport is the kind of actor I instinctively trust: stage-forged, patient, unflashy. Graduating from Stockholm's drama academy in 1997 and joining the Royal Dramatic Theatre's permanent ensemble is a serious apprenticeship in the classics, and that discipline tends to show on screen as quiet authority. The Kristallen award is nice, but what I respect is the accumulated craft behind it. She's someone whose theatre work I'd genuinely travel to see, which is the highest compliment I can pay a screen actor.
