My Take
Bradley Wiggins fascinates me because he refused to be defined by a single discipline. He built his foundation on the track, then reinvented himself for the road and, in 2012, became the first Briton to win the Tour de France, sweeping up the BBC honour and a knighthood in the same golden year. What strikes me is the quiet, almost stubborn intelligence behind those results, a man who let the legs do the talking. Born in Ghent yet utterly British in spirit, he is one of those athletes whose achievements speak louder than any interview ever could.
