Choi Myeong-been

Choi Myeong-been is a young South Korean actress who already commands real respect from me. Debuting as a child actor in 2016, she earned the Best Young Actress prize at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards for roles in The King's Affection and Young Lady and Gentleman, demonstrating a composure well beyond her years, especially in period drama. What interests me most is the transition ahead: child performers who carry genuine talent face the hard task of maturing into adult roles. Given the poise she shows this early, I am inclined to believe she will manage it, and I want to follow that journey closely.
