Cody Hall

Cody Hall carries one of wrestling's heaviest surnames, and I find his story compelling precisely because of that weight. As the son of Scott Hall, comparison was inevitable, yet he chose to forge his own path far from home, joining Bullet Club in New Japan Pro-Wrestling rather than coasting on legacy. Second-generation performers walk a brutal line between expectation and identity, and crossing the world to compete in Japan took real nerve. Though he has retired, I respect the decision to test himself in one of wrestling's most demanding environments. The father-and-son thread running through his career is, to me, a quietly moving piece of the sport's history.
