Craig Parker

Craig Parker is the kind of actor I trust before I even know what he's in. Born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand, he turned a handful of scenes as Haldir in The Lord of the Rings into something genuinely memorable, then flipped to cold-blooded menace as Glaber in Spartacus. That range, from luminous elf to ruthless Roman, tells me his stage training runs deep. What I admire most is his loyalty: he keeps returning to Shortland Street across decades. He's a craftsman who survives on reliability rather than flash, and I quietly respect that.
