My Take
Daran Norris is the kind of performer you have absolutely heard without knowing his face. As Cosmo in The Fairly OddParents and a presence in over 400 films, games, and shows, he is a workhorse of voice acting whose range is genuinely staggering. Born in Ferndale, Washington, he moves easily between booth work and live-action roles like Veronica Mars. I have a soft spot for actors who build a career out of ubiquity rather than a single signature hit, populating the edges of countless stories. Norris is exactly that quiet backbone, and he deserves a lot more credit than he gets.
