My Take

Diego Rosa is the kind of young prospect I love watching early. Born in 2002 in Salvador, Bahia, a city soaked in samba and capoeira rhythm, he is an unusually tall midfielder at 185 cm now testing himself abroad with Cypriot side APOEL. Going overseas this young takes real nerve. That height is a serious asset in midfield, suggesting someone who can dominate aerially while still moving the ball. Brazilian technique tempered by European discipline often produces something special, and I suspect that is the path he is on. I want to see this raw talent grow into the player I think he can become.
