Do Kwon

Do Kwon is, to me, a cautionary tale about the seductive danger of brilliance untethered from humility. A Stanford-trained engineer, he built a system marketed as unshakeable, only to watch it vaporize billions of dollars in real people's savings. What fascinates me is not the technical failure alone but the psychology of conviction so total that warnings went unheard. I don't dismiss his intelligence, but I think his story belongs in every discussion about where code meets money and where confidence shades into recklessness. We learn more from how things break than from how they shine.
