Don Hany

Don Hany is the kind of quietly reliable actor I enjoy following. Sydney-born and a Western Sydney University graduate, he broke through as Zane Malik in SBS's East West 101, winning a Logie for Most Outstanding Actor, then crossed over to lead NBC's Heartbeat in 2016. What I respect about actors who work across countries is that it usually rests on solid craft rather than flash. His career feels grounded and earned, an Australian talent that genuinely travels. He has social media accounts, too, and he stays on my watch list.
