My Take

Elin Nordegren is best known publicly through her marriage to Tiger Woods from 2004 to their 2010 divorce, but I think reducing her to that does her a disservice. A Swedish former model born in Stockholm in 1980, she went through one of the most relentless media storms imaginable and chose dignity over public spectacle. She later returned to study at Rollins College, which I genuinely admire as a statement of self-reinvention. Staying private under that level of scrutiny takes real backbone.
