My Take
Eric Bauza might be the most heard, least recognized performer I know of. This Toronto native carries the entire Looney Tunes ensemble, Bugs Bunny chief among them, and has the rare honor of three Emmy Awards to show for it. Yet the craft is all in service of the character, never the self. From Puss in Boots to Baby Fozzie, his range is bottomless, and the fact that every voice lands as instantly lovable speaks to genuine comic instinct. Voice acting rarely gets its flowers, so I'll gladly hand some to this backstage magician who makes cartoons feel alive.
