Glen Morgan

Glen Morgan is the sort of creative force I deeply respect precisely because he works behind the curtain. His partnership with James Wong shaped some of The X-Files' most unsettling and memorable episodes, and that influence ran straight through to his executive producer role on the show's eleventh season. I also love that he helped steer Jordan Peele's Twilight Zone revival. To me, writers and producers like Morgan are the architects of television's emotional machinery, building the scaffolding stars stand on. There's a craftsman's discipline in his career that I find more compelling than any spotlight, and it deserves louder applause.
