My Take
Grace Caroline Currey is one of those quietly impressive actors who keeps landing roles in wildly different genre films and nailing every one of them. She showed up in Annabelle: Creation back in 2017 and held her own in a genuinely unsettling horror environment, which is no small feat. Then she became Mary Bromfield in the Shazam! films and brought real warmth and grounded energy to a superhero ensemble that could have easily felt cartoonish. But honestly, Fall (2022) is where I think she proved herself — stranded on a 2,000-foot TV tower with almost no supporting cast and no CGI safety net, she carried that film on pure screen presence. She's a dancer by training too, which you can feel in the physicality she brings to everything. I'm genuinely curious where she goes from here.
