My Take
Harrison Ford is my favorite argument against giving up early: a carpenter building cabinets for studio people until his mid-thirties, then suddenly the face of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, two myths in one career. What I respect most is how stubbornly unglamorous he stayed; his record still lists carpenter and environmentalist, and both feel true. He flies his own planes, grumbles through interviews, and keeps showing up to work past eighty like a tradesman who simply likes the job. Charisma fades, but craftsmanship compounds, and Ford is living proof. Few movie stars have made reluctance look this magnetic for this long.
