Hayato Dōue

Hayato Dōue had real talent: a strong-armed catcher who won the batting and home-run titles and the MVP in the Shikoku Island League and made it to the top team with SoftBank. That makes the ending all the harder to look at. In 2012 he was arrested, released by the club, and later sentenced to prison. The baseball record is real, and so is the harm he did.
