My Take

To me Howie Mandel is one of those rare performers who's genuinely everywhere and somehow never feels stale. I grew up knowing him as the voice of Gizmo in Gremlins and the manic Dr. Fiscus on St. Elsewhere, then later as the fist-bumping, germ-conscious judge on Deal or No Deal and America's Got Talent. What I respect most is that he's been openly candid about living with OCD and anxiety. That honesty, paired with the relentless clown energy, makes him feel human rather than just a TV personality. A Canadian who earned stars on both the Hollywood and Canada Walks of Fame is no small feat.
