My Take
Nayeon has always been the face that catches your eye first — even in a group as stacked as TWICE, she just pops. There's something about the way she performs that feels genuinely effortless, that bright gap-tooth smile and the kind of stage presence that reads in the back row of an arena. Being the oldest member of one of K-pop's biggest groups comes with real pressure, and she carried it with a kind of breezy confidence for years before finally stepping out on her own. Her 2022 solo EP "Im Nayeon" and the follow-up "Na" showed she absolutely has the chops to hold a spotlight solo — "ABCD" in particular is an earworm I did not see coming. She's an easy performer to root for, and it feels like she's barely scratched the surface of what she can do.
