My Take
Ivan Neville carries one of the great names in American music, and what I respect is that he turned that inheritance into his own voice. Son of Aaron Neville and nephew to the Neville Brothers, he could have coasted on legacy, but instead he became a genuine multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter.
