Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow is one of the more interesting rappers of his generation to me, partly because he came out of Louisville rather than the usual hubs. "Whats Poppin" was the breakthrough in 2020, and I remember being struck by how relaxed and confident he sounded, like he wasn't trying too hard. Signing with Generation Now under Don Cannon and DJ Drama gave him real cosigns, and a Billboard Music Award followed. He's branched into acting too, which feels like the natural ambition of someone with charisma to spare. I'm curious whether he settles into longevity or stays chasing the next viral moment.
