Jadyn Wong

Jadyn Wong won me over as Happy Quinn on Scorpion, a role that let her be prickly, guarded, and brilliant all at once. I have always liked performers who convey strength through restraint rather than spectacle, and she did exactly that. There is something quietly impressive about leaving Medicine Hat, Alberta, and carving out real presence on American television. That takes grit and patience, qualities her work seems to carry naturally. I tend to follow actors who let the character do the talking instead of chasing attention, and Wong strikes me as precisely that kind of grounded, dependable talent.
