My Take
Jane Fonda is one of those rare people who just refuses to coast. Two Academy Awards — Klute in 1972, Coming Home in 1979 — would be enough legacy for most actors, but she's never been most actors. She came up as Hollywood royalty (Henry Fonda's daughter) and spent decades proving the name was hers to own, not just inherit.
