Jason Hervey

Jason Hervey will forever be Wayne Arnold to me, the older brother everyone loved to hate on The Wonder Years. Playing that kind of antagonist as a kid takes real nerve, and he pulled it off with a smirk you couldn't forget. But what earns my respect is the second act: instead of fading like so many child actors, he moved behind the camera as a writer and producer. That pivot, from being watched to running the show, signals someone who understood the business rather than just performing in it. Reinvention is harder than fame, and he managed both.
