My Take
What strikes me about Jay Grdina is the breadth of his resume. He didn't just perform; he directed, produced, and ran the business side as an entrepreneur. Awards like the NightMoves and several AVN editing honors tell me he cared about craft, not just appearance. I tend to respect people who can operate across the whole chain of production, and that range suggests a businessman's discipline rather than a showman's hunger for attention. He's the kind of behind-the-scenes builder I find more interesting than the names on the marquee.
