My Take

Jeff Satur is one of the most exciting talents to come out of Thailand's entertainment scene for me. Born Worakamol Satur in Bangkok, he broke through acting in Thai BL series, then proved he's a genuine singer-songwriter with a smoky, distinctive voice. What I respect is that he writes and produces a lot of his own material, so the artistry feels real rather than packaged. Tracks like Why Don't You Stay showed an international ambition, and his live shows have a moody, cinematic quality I really enjoy. He's a rare double threat who clearly takes the music as seriously as the screen work.
