Born Worakamol Satur in Bangkok, he broke through acting in Thai BL series, then proved he's a genuine singer-songwriter with a smoky, distinctive voice. What I respect is that he writes and produces a lot of his own material, so the artistry feels real rather than packaged. Tracks like Why Don't You Stay showed an international ambition, and his live shows have a moody, cinematic quality I really enjoy. He's a rare double threat who clearly takes the music as seriously as the screen work.
