My Take
Jessica Williams is someone I've watched grow into a real range, and that range is exactly what I admire. She made her name as a senior correspondent on The Daily Show, where sharp comic timing met genuine commentary, then carried that voice into 2 Dope Queens. What I find most rewarding is the dramatic turn, especially her work as Gaby in Shrinking, which shows she's far more than a sketch performer. Add the Fantastic Beasts films and the podcast roots, and you get a versatile artist. To me she represents that satisfying arc from comedy correspondent to fully rounded actress, and I'm always curious what she does next.
