My Take
What floors me about Jinkx Monsoon is the sheer rarity of winning RuPaul's Drag Race twice, season five and the All-Winners All-Stars, the only queen ever to pull it off. That isn't luck, it's craft. I read this Portland native as a genuine triple threat, someone who treats comedy, song, and acting with equal seriousness rather than coasting on spectacle. The drag is dazzling, but underneath I sense a disciplined performer with deep theatrical training. Jinkx earns my respect precisely because the artistry is real and never lazy, and that, to me, is what separates a star from a sensation.
