Joey Mercury

What strikes me about Joey Mercury is the full arc of his career. Debuting as a teenager back in 1996, reaching ECW in 2000, then passing through WWE and Ring of Honor, he eventually pivoted into producing, training, and agenting. I respect performers who understand that the show is bigger than their own spotlight. Moving from the ring to the backstage machinery takes humility and a deep love of the craft, and his Instagram handle alone signals that wrestling runs through his veins. To me, his real value lies in shaping the next generation rather than chasing one more match.
