My Take
Peele proved something I have always believed: comedy and horror are the same muscle, both built on tension and release. Get Out was not just a great debut; it was a structural argument that genre film can carry social critique without sacrificing entertainment. What I admire is his discipline as a writer, where every scare does double duty as metaphor, yet the craft never feels like homework. Few performers have reinvented themselves so completely, going from sketch comedian to Oscar-winning auteur. Whenever a new Peele project is announced, I clear my schedule, because he has never once repeated himself.
