Josh Charles

Josh Charles is one of those actors who makes you feel the loss of a character more than almost anyone else on television — if you watched The Good Wife, you know exactly what I mean. He broke onto the scene with Dead Poets Society back in 1989, held his own opposite Robin Williams as a teenager, and then quietly built one of the most respectable careers in American TV drama. His Will Gardner was charismatic, morally complicated, and genuinely compelling, and the Emmy nominations he racked up for the role were absolutely deserved. What I love about Josh is that he never chased blockbuster fame — he did Sports Night, he did theater, he kept his craft sharp. A Baltimore kid who grew into one of the most underrated dramatic actors of his generation, and honestly that's a legacy worth a lot more than the spotlight he gets.
