Jun Inoue

Jun Inoue is my favourite kind of veteran. A Shibuya-born pop singer from the Group Sounds era, he grew into a television host who spent years handing the spotlight to other performers. That generosity is rare in anyone once screamed at himself. Born in 1947, still working, now teaching at university too. The easy smile hides real discipline.
